SPOKEN ENGLISH

Our Spoken English courses are to help individuals improve their English Speaking Skills. Nearly 75 percent of the lessons will focus on oral communication with the students doing much of the speaking. This will help in developing fluency and confidence. Grammar and vocabulary along with enhancing pronunciation will also be covered. There are a total of six levels - from Beginner all the way to Advanced.


Duration of Each Level  30 hours


Level Assessment
Prior to enrolling for the course, a prospective student will be given a written assessment followed by an oral assessment with the trainer. The batches are small, and the classes are loads of fun and are highly interactive. High quality study materials will be provided to the students. One on One personalized and customized classes are also available to those who prefer that. 

Levels

Spoken English has six levels. 

Level 1 - Beginner

Level 2 - Elementary

Level 3 - Pre-intermediate

Level 4 - Intermediate

Level 5 - Upper Intermediate

Level 6 - Advanced



Level 1 – Beginner

This course is designed for individuals who cannot speak English at all or for those who can speak English but in a very limited capacity using very short sentences or in fragments.

After the completion of this level, a student will be able to converse using short and somewhat longer sentences, along with a higher degree of accuracy. The student will also have added more vocabulary and common phrases, used in everyday situations, to his speech.

In Level 1, the following topics will be covered:

  • Introductions
  • Greetings in everyday situations
  • Asking for or giving information
  • Asking and answering questions
  • Everyday conversations
  • Social expressions
  • Useful vocabulary related to job, travel, hobbies
  • Polite requests
  • Describing objects, people, places
  • Describing feelings
  • Talking about the present and the past
  • Asking for or giving directions
  •  Making suggestions

Level 2 – Elementary

Students eligible for Level II are expected to be able to communicate in short complete sentences using the English language. Students should be somewhat fluent and their listening comprehension skills should be above average. In this course, students will learn to various tenses and add to their knowledge of English vocabulary. During lessons, students will learn and practice using a variety of vocabulary, complex sentences, and structures. In addition, the focus will be on the following areas:

  • Describing places, people, and objects
  • Comparisons
  • Tenses
  • Telephone skills
  • Time Clauses
