IELTS is an acronym for the International English Language Testing System. It is the world's most popular exam to test an individual's English language proficiency. Test Options for IELTS Test Takers
There are two test options for a candidate to choose from - Paper Based IELTS and Computer Delivered IELTS, The candidate should choose to register for the type of test based on his/her comfort level. The Speaking test for both is face to face with an IELTS examiner. There are more dates available every month for the CD-IELTS compared to the Paper Based IELTS, which is offered usually four times a month for Academic IELTS and twice a month for General IELTS.
IELTS (UKVI) is offered at designated centers approved by the UK Home Office. UKVI stands for United Kingdom Visa & Immigration, and IELTS (UKVI) is usually required for those who are seeking UK citizenship or looking for work in the UK. The structure, content and format of the IELTS (UKVI) is similar to those of the regular IELTS, with the test taker having a choice between Academic or General Training modules.
Where To Take The Test?
Those who prefer the Paper-Based IELTS can take the exam at Syscoms-Abu Dhabi whereas those who prefer the CD-IELTS can take the exam at IDP-Abu Dhabi center located on the fourth floor of Syscoms Building in Abu Dhabi.
For those in Al Ain, Syscoms Institute's branch in Al Ain offers both CD-IELTS and Paper Based IELTS.
IELTS (UKVI) is offered at other IDP authorized centers in Abu Dhabi.

IELTS Training at Syscoms
At Syscoms, we offer a structured training program focusing not only on improving one’s English language skills but also on learning test-taking techniques and mastering them in order to maximize the chances of getting a high band score. We also offer one on one customized coaching for those who are targeting specific modules such as Speaking or Writing or the entire test.

In order to do well on the IELTS exam, it is important that one prepares for the exam in a structured manner. When preparing for the exam, a student should not only become familiar with the content and the structure of the exam but also practice with focus and discipline. A student after having learned or understood the test taking techniques should attempt IELTS practice tests regularly. Each test is an opportunity for the student to learn from. Such an approach will allow a test taker to secure a high band score on the actual exam on the first attempt. We at Syscoms ensure that there are weekly practice tests. The practice tests are scheduled on Fridays. However, extra practice tests are arranged on other days based on the request of the students.
Our trainers are highly experienced in IELTS test preparations, and have been teaching IELTS, English language, and other test preparation courses for a decade or more. Course Outline:
All four modules - Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking will be covered thoroughly, with each module completed over a week (5 sessions of 2 hours). During the training, the trainer will not only help develop a student's test taking skills through important techniques but also incorporate grammar and vocabulary activities during the lessons.
Students will receive study materials including IELTS preparation book along with plenty of customized handouts prepared by the trainer to ensure that the test preparation is extremely productive.
