Course Objective

Course Prerequisite

No formal training in Web design required. Familiar with basic computer operations.

Course Outcome

Prepare bitmap images for print or the Web using basic Photoshop retouching and correction techniques, collage, and compositing.
Create standards- Web page layouts by hand-coding using HTML and CSS.
Publish Web pages to a Web server using Dreamweaver FTP.
Develop Web page and site layouts using Adobe Dreamweaver.
Design Web layouts, graphics, buttons, and banner ads using Photoshop.
Design basic Flash page graphics, animations, ads, and promotional sites.
Develop a systematic approach to Web design .
Design Web page layouts for a range of different types of business clients.

Web design compiles the creative vision and technical skills of an individual commonly known as web designers. Web design is the technical creation of a website, such as the coding part, basic layout, etc. Web Design is the task of designing (including scripting) a web page on the internet.
